Cancellation and Refunds Policy

For purposes of this Refund Policy, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to You Can Tours Japan dba, and “you” or “your” refers to the customer. Please read this Refund Policy carefully as it constitutes your Agreement with Youcantoursjapan.

By engaging us to provide services to you, you agree to be legally bound by this Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change or modify this Refund Policy at any time.

Unless otherwise specified, any changes or modifications will be effective immediately, and your continued use of our services after such time will constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications.


For cancellations because of COVID-19 reasons, it must be verified by an appropriate medical professional; if we agree, you will be fully refunded. Before booking, please message us to verify your situation in order to provide you a full refund in case you have to cancel due to COVID-19.

In case you wish to cancel the Tour Booking, the policy below will apply to the cancellation. After deducting the appropriate charges including refund transaction charges from the price paid, we will refund the remaining amount, within 10 days from the date of the cancellation.

  • If you cancel between 1 and 7 days in advance of the meeting date: Charge 100% 
  • If you cancel at least 8 days in advance of the meeting date, there is a 100% refund: Charge 0%


  • “Tour Price” shall include consumption tax (sales tax) thereon if any.
  • When counting the days, we use the time from our system which is based on the tour’s actual start time using the area’s local time zone, 24 hours is counted as 1 full day.
  • The cancellation may be done by you through the online system–please contact us directly via means contact link–or email.
  • To avoid any confusion please see the sample case as follows:
    for example: A tour booking where the start date and time is May 31st 9:00 am.
    If Cancelled on May 30th after 9:00 am (Tour Local Time) = 100% cancellation fee will be charged. If cancelled on May 24th before 8:59 (Tour Local Time) = 100% of the payment will be refunded.


You have the right to cancel the services, within seven days, without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after seven days from the day on which the booking is confirmed. To exercise the right of cancellation, you may notify us of your decision to cancel.

We allow customers to request a refund within seven days while cancelling the service. Refunds cannot be issued until the request has been received and analyzed for not less than seven days. In addition to that, we will only issue a refund if we deem the request as justified, and we will not issue a refund if we believe the request is not justified.


In the event any provision or part of this Refund Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, only that particular provision or part so found, and not the entire Refund Policy, will be inoperative.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement contains the entire Agreement and understanding among the parties hereto concerning the subject matter hereof. It supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, understandings, inducements, and conditions, express or implied, oral or written, of any nature whatsoever concerning the subject matter hereof.Booking
