Overview

This Okayama & Kurashiki Day Tour combines two of Western Japan’s most atmospheric cultural destinations: Korakuen Garden, one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, and the beautifully preserved Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, known for its Edo-period canals, white-walled storehouses, and traditional merchant architecture.

The day offers a balanced blend of nature, history, art, and slow-paced exploration. Korakuen provides sweeping lawns, teahouses, ponds, and seasonal landscapes, while Kurashiki’s Bikan district offers narrow lanes, galleries, craft shops, and riverside scenery.

With decades of guiding experience across Western Japan, I tailor the day to your pace and interests — whether you prefer photography, cultural history, gardens, or simply wandering through one of Japan’s most charming old towns.
